B-Vent

Type B gas vent, commonly known as B-Vent, is a double-wall metal venting system designed to safely convey combustion gases from gas-fired appliances to the outdoors. Used with furnaces, boilers, water heaters, unit heaters, and other Category I gas-fired equipment, B-Vent features an aluminum inner liner and galvanized steel outer wall that promote proper draft while reducing clearance requirements compared to single-wall vent pipe.
