Test & Drains

Test and drain assemblies are fire protection system components used to facilitate testing, inspection, and maintenance of sprinkler systems while allowing controlled drainage of system water. Commonly installed on wet pipe, dry pipe, and pre-action sprinkler systems, these devices provide a means to simulate sprinkler activation flow conditions for alarm testing and system verification while also enabling safe drainage of water during maintenance or system servicing. Available in single-piece and combination valve assemblies with integral test orifice, drain port, and pressure gauge connections, test and drain valves are widely used in commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential fire protection systems and are typically UL Listed and FM Approved for compliance with fire code requirements.
