Dry Pipe Valves

Dry pipe valves are fire protection system control valves used in dry pipe sprinkler systems where piping is filled with pressurized air or nitrogen instead of water. When a sprinkler activates, the valve releases air pressure and allows water to enter the system and discharge through open sprinklers. These systems are commonly used in unheated buildings, parking garages, warehouses, loading docks, and cold storage environments where freezing conditions would damage wet pipe systems. Dry pipe valves are typically used in commercial, industrial, and institutional fire protection systems and are designed to meet UL Listed and FM Approved requirements for life safety applications.
